Mission

As the Global Process Owner of Availability and Capacity Management throughout the Adecco estate, you will ensure that each process is performed as designed globally and the process implementation maintains the availability and the reliability of IT so that Service targets are met in accordance with planned business objectives..


Global Process Owner Accountabilities

  • Own the CSI plan for the processes and drive service improvements across the capability (people, process, product & partners)
  • Own all changes to the capabilities ensuring they do not impact the services provided
  • Own and execute the strategy of the processes
  • Accountable for the process design ensuring they confirm to best practice
  • Own the process policies and put in place the required governance to ensure all services conform to the policies
  • Ensuring the Availability & Capacity Management processes, its associated techniques and methods are regularly reviewed and audited, and that all of these are subjected to continuous improvement and remain fit for purpose
  • Ensure the process is staffed with adequate resources (qualitative and quantitative). Owning any risks associated
  • Represent the capabilities at the Global Process Board and the wider Adecco IT organisation
  • Supplier manage 3rd parties who perform parts of Availability & Capacity Management and aggregate that up into the Adecco wide service reporting and governance
  • Accountable for the deployment of the Availability & Capacity Management processes and associated methods and techniques, reporting and achieving process performance KPI expectations.

Availability Management Responsibilities (non-exhaustive):

  • Assesses new hardware and software products for use by Availability Management that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process
  • Maintains a knowledge of future demand for IT Services and predicts the effects of demand on performance service levels
  • Defining the targets of Availability required that underpin IT Service as the basis for an SLA agreement
  • Monitoring of actual IT Availability achieved vs targets and that shortfalls are addressed

Capacity Management Responsibilities (non-exhaustive):

  • Monitor, measure, analyse, report and review service and component availability and capacity
  • Recommend tuning of systems and make recommendations to IT management on the design and use of systems to help ensure optimum use of all hardware and operating system software resources
  • Production, regular review and revision of the Capacity Plan, in line with the organization’s business planning cycle, identifying current usage and forecast requirements during the period covered by the plan.
  • Ensures the information recorded in the CMIS and AMIS is kept up-to-date and used by all parts of the Capacity and Availability Management processes
  • Assessing new techniques and hardware and software products for use by Capacity Management that might improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process
